Maine civil legal service providers depend on the legal profession to be able to offer legal services to those who have no access to legal advice.  The Champions of Justice Challenge has been established to inject a bit of fun and good-natured competition to encourage participation and generosity.  The law firm that has the highest percentage of lawyer participation, the largest average gift, and the total amount given will be this year’s Justice Champion.

Two Champions of Justice firms will be named, one for firms with 10 attorneys or more, and one for firms with less than 10 attorneys. The winning firm names will be engraved on a plaque which will remain in their possession until the next year when a new Champion of Justice is named.
